Dame Maureen Lipman stars as Allegra in a life-affirming new comedy by Peter Quilter, directed and choreographed by Stephen Mear. Allegra is full of life, joy and an irresistible urge to sing—sometimes only in her imagination, sometimes spilling into the real world to the delight, confusion and horror of those around her.

The story follows Allegra, her devoted brother Ronen and her carer Anna, asking how someone can be protected without dimming the light that makes them who they are. The production features well-known musical numbers woven into the drama.
