Bath Carnival 2026

Celebrate Bath Carnival with a colourful day of live music, dance, performance, food and family-friendly entertainment across the city.

Bath Carnival returns to the city for a vibrant celebration of creativity, diversity and community spirit, bringing thousands of people together for one of Bath's biggest free outdoor festivals.

The day begins with Party in the Park at Sydney Gardens, featuring live bands, DJs, independent food and drink vendors, licensed bars, walkabout performers, a Super Pirates play area and a community village. Later, the spectacular Carnival Procession takes to the streets with more than 1,000 performers, including samba bands, dancers, giant puppets, stilt walkers, colourful costumes and community groups.

Suitable for all ages, Bath Carnival offers a full day of free entertainment, live performances and family-friendly activities, making it one of the city's must-visit summer events.
