Christmas at Westonbirt Arboretum

About: Get ready for an unforgettable Christmas evening at Westonbirt, The National Arboretum. This magical after-dark trail returns for 2025 with brand-new lights, spectacular installations, and festive fun for the whole family!
Wander through the illuminated arboretum, where twinkling lights bring the stunning setting to life. Marvel at the brand-new installations for 2025, including ‘Laser Lights’, ‘Mycelium Network’, ‘Fireworks Trees’ and ‘Wicker Animals’. Keep your eyes peeled for Father Christmas, as you can spot him on the trail!

Christmas light trail around Bath City Centre
Where: Milsom Street
About: This Christmas, Bath’s most iconic streets and buildings will be brought to life with magical illuminations as part of the Bath Christmas Light Trail.
Dates: These illuminations will run throughout December
Christmas Features: Thursday evening late-night Christmas shopping will see many retailers staying open well into the evening. There will also be lots of pop-up entertainment around the city centre, and the Bath Abbey Chamber Choir will be there to sing some festive favourites.

Longleat's Festival of Light
Where: Longleat, Warminster, Wiltshire, BA12 7NW
About: Longleat's Festival of Light is returning for 2024-25, where families can immerse themselves in a magical Christmas event! This Festival of Light is biggest and better than before, featuring a Winter Safari, featuring lifesized lanterns inspired by many exciting stories; including Wizard of Oz, Cinderella & The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
This light trail includes a 15-metre Enchanted Christmas Tree Show, a Santa Train and a fountain display.
Dates: 9th November 2024 - 5th January 2025

Illuminate at Hestercombe
About: ILLUMINATE will transport you on a magical journey of colour, light, and sound to bring festive awe and wonder to their gardens.
The natural features and views of the Landscape Garden come to life at night, with spotlights, lit trees, and coloured paths drawing you up towards the Great Cascade, down past beautiful dynamic fountains in the Pear Pond, and through a 'Christmas tree' grove below the Formal Garden, before finishing with a show-stopping display in front of Hestercombe House.
Dates/Times: From Saturday 21st November 2024 to Monday 30th December 2024 from 4.30pm until 8pm.

About: Follow and interact with Avon Valleys light trail around the park as they use the lake and trees to create a spectacular backdrop. Once again, Avon Valley have collaborated with an award winning event lighting specialist to illuminate your Christmas!
With stunning light installations and play areas creatively lit up we are bringing you a family focused, fun light trail to be enjoyed by all ages.
Dates: 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st December 2024.

Bath on Ice 2025 & Glow Golf
Where: Royal Pavillion, Royal Victoria Park, Bath, BA1 2NR
About: Bath on Ice is returning to the city in 2024 and is bringing with it a host of magical Christmas lights to their hidden winter wonderland. Although not a stand-alone Christmas light trail, Bath On Ice features a selection of bright illuminations, whilst their Glow Golf feature sees you take a tour through a festive light trail experience as you play some crazy glow-in-the-dark golf.
