Much more than your typical grotto, the experience offers a 20-minute immersive performance where children and grown-ups help the elves wake Father Christmas and discover how they’re planning to make this the best Christmas ever.

Tickets: All Adults and Children entering the grotto experience must purchase a ticket.

  • Do they sell Food and Drink: You can warm up with a velvety hot chocolate (with cream & marshmallows if you wish! or a splash of Baileys for the adults!), freshly brewed coffee or teas. Indulge in festive treats, cakes, and sweet snacks, or grab a light bite before heading home.
  • Where can I park for The Holburne Museum? The Museum is served with a pay and display car park, however this is due to get very busy and we advise planning alternative parking for your experience. The Holburne Museum is within walking distance of all central Car Parks and Park and Ride stops.

  • Where are the toilets? Toilet facilities can be found with the main museum space, offering accessible toilets, gender natural and male and female

Event Information: Get ready for the most magical experience of the season! Grab your loved ones and dive into a glowing adventure on our 18-hole Adventure Golf Course, where every swing is bathed in soft fairy light and every ball glows as it rolls through our tree lined course.

  • Is there parking at Glow Golf at Bath on Ice? They do not have on site parking, the closest car park is charlotte street a short 5 minute walk away.
  • Can I take dogs on the course? Dogs are more than welcome as long as they are kept on a lead and cleaned up after.
  • How long does Glow Golf last? Choose your 15-minute tee-off window, and head to their reception desk to pick up your ball and club. Expect to wander, glow and play your way through the course in approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes of illuminated fun.

Bath on Ice

Event Information: Bath’s famous Christmas ice skating experience has returned for 2025/2026 and is a great family activity if you’re looking for things to do in Bat this December. Located in Bath’s Royal Victoria Park, you can take to the ice and skate under the dazzling illuminations before warming up with seasonal drinks in the cosy bar area.

  • Do they serve food & drink? Yes they have the incredible Moguls Alpine Bar, where you can warm up with festive cocktails, mulled drinks, pizzas, hot dogs and hot chocolates.
  • Is there parking? No on-site car park, but a 5 minute walk is Charlotte Street Car Park.

Big Bath Sleep-Out

Event Information: Support Bath’s homeless charity Julian House raise awareness for people living rough on the streets of the city by joining in with the Big Bath Sleep-Out 2026.

Spend a night in Bath’s outdoors as you swap your comfy bed for a sleeping bag and spend a night under the stars raising money for Julian House, with proceeds going towards helping provide life-changing support to homeless communities across Bath, Bristol, and the South-West.
