Komedia are reopening!

After just over a year of closure, it is with much excitement that we can now announce our reopening plans here at Komedia Bath.

In line with current Government guidelines (and assuming the roadmap doesn’t change over the coming weeks), the venue will re-open its doors on Tuesday 18 May. At first, we will be operating at a reduced capacity, with social distancing measures in place.

Our very first socially distanced shows include:

From Monday 21 June, if restrictions are lifted as currently expected, we hope to be back operating more or less as we did before the start of the pandemic. We are, however, sensitive to the changing nature of the situation and will adjust plans accordingly should government guidelines vary from current predictions.

Over the past few months, the team has been busy booking top live music and even club nights to fill the summer and beyond. Some highlights include:

During the long period of closure, the team has also been busy making improvements to the venue and has upgraded the cafe/foyer space to a fully-kitted out, intimate live music venue in its own right. There will be more information regarding this shortly and the team looks forward to opening this space for small - often free music events - and will circulate listings shortly.
