Lumenis Theatre presents a moving drama about a migrant couple in the UK navigating family, care work and life choices during a period of global crisis.

Presented by Lumenis Theatre

Maurice and Hermia are a migrant married couple making their home in the UK. Maurice takes pride in his work as a care worker in an elderly care home, while Hermia struggles with motherhood and caring for their two-year-old. A friendship with Darya, a resident in her late 70s who is also a migrant, offers connection and perspective.

During a period of global crisis, Maurice is forced to choose between his family and living in the care home where he works. Four years later, with further restrictions looming for migrant care workers, the couple takes stock of the life choices they have made.
