Tickets On Sale for Treefest 2013
Tickets have gone on sale for the the Forestry Commission's annual Treefest at the Westonbirt National Arboretum.
The Treefest is Westonbirt's signature summer event and celebrates nature, trees, woodcraft and good old fashioned family fun.
Across the August Bank Holiday weekend families can follow a trail around the festival enjoying storytelling, puppet theatre, falconry and axe carving along the way.
Local live music will be performed by bands from across the south west and big carving will return, with this year's sculptors creating pieces inspired by fairytales.
Camping for Treefest weekend ticket holders takes place in a newly refurbished Camping and Caravanning site at The Holford Arms in the nearby village of Knockdown.
Just 1.5 miles from the arboretum, the campsite offers modern facilities and a family friendly, country pub atmosphere.
A free shuttle bus will operate every morning and evening for campers wishing to travel to Treefest without taking their cars.
Advance adult (£10) and concession (£8) tickets save up to 20 per cent on gate prices. Fantastic value weekend tickets are just £24 per person.
Members of the Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum and children go free and great group rates are also available.
