Yes, Prime Minister

A razor-sharp political comedy following Prime Minister Jim Hacker at Chequers as he battles economic turmoil, party infighting and Sir Humphrey Appleby in a tense, fast-paced weekend.

Yes, Prime Minister is a witty political comedy set during a tense weekend at Chequers. New Prime Minister Jim Hacker faces a collapsing economy, party infighting, hostile media pressure and the formidable Sir Humphrey Appleby. With a high-stakes loan on the table, Jim must outmanoeuvre rivals while trying to reassert democratic control.

Written by Antony Jay and Jonathan Lynn, the production is sharply updated for modern politics and follows on from I’m Sorry, Prime Minister.
