Start your Arts Award adventure at Beckford’s Tower!

Join us for a fun, creative day of art and exploration, inspired by the collection at Beckford’s Tower.

You’ll discover different local artists and their work, experiment with art materials and create an artwork inspired by what you have seen. At the end of the session you can share what you have learned. We’ll provide everything you need to help you complete your Arts Award 'Discover in a Day'!

What is Arts Award Discover?

Arts Award Discover is an introductory award, open to children and young people aged 5 to 25.

To achieve Discover level, children and young people discover the arts around them, find out about artists and their work and share their experiences with others. Children will complete a log book of their experiences, and gain a certificate.

Important info:

This workshop is for home educated children and young people. Suitable for ages 5+.

After full participation in the day, children will be issued an official certificate. These will be available to collect from  Beckford's Tower a few weeks after the session.

Please bring your own packed lunch, snacks and water bottle.

Children must be accompanied by an adult (max. 4 children per adult).

Not suitable for children under 5.
