Remembrance Day Service - Bath Abbey
Dates: Saturday 11th November and Sunday 12th November
About: Those wishing to pay their respects to the fallen servicemen and women who gave their lives in past wars, will be able to attend a choice of two Remembrance Day events taking place at Bath Abbey over the weekend. Saturday 11th of November will see a remembrance day concert take place with the Bath Abbey choirs singing a host of beautiful and comforting songs. Remembrance Sunday will then see the Royal British Legion Remembrance Service take place at the Abbey as the city remembers those who have fallen and been injured in war. The city Mayor and members of the council will be joined by members of the Royal British Legion to remember those who sacrificed their freedom. The service will start at 3.00pm and finish at 4.00pm.

Remembrance Sunday - Chippenham Town Centre - Sunday 17th November
Date: Sunday 17th November 2023
About: Chippenham will be hosting its annual Remembrance Day service at the town centre war memorial for those wishing to pay their respects to the fallen soldiers of wars past and present. A church service will be held at St. Andrews Church with a two-minute silence then taking place at the war memorial in the Market Place. Wreaths will be laid at the war memorial and a procession will then be led down the High Street and past the Town Hall. A two-minute silence will also be held outside the Town Hall on Sunday 17th November.
