Open weekend at leisure centres in Bath and North East Somerset

Better leisure centres in Bath and North East Somerset will be holding an open weekend on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November.

In keeping with this month’s ‘Social Enterprise Day’, the Open Weekend will run with the theme of ‘Thriving on Purpose’ – the aim being to celebrate the positive impact of inclusive, purpose-driven activities for people of all ages and abilities.

A range of free activities is being offered, including swimbies and swim school taster sessions, dance fitness, gym tasters, badminton and a strength masterclass.

Operating under the Better brand, GLL is the charitable social enterprise that runs Bath Sports and Leisure Centre and Keynsham Leisure Centre on behalf of the council. 

“Our Open Weekend is a fantastic opportunity to visit your local leisure,” said Barnaby Rich, GLL Partnership Manager. 

“Exercise is key to good health and a fun way of getting to know new people, making new friends and trying something different.”
