What is your earliest rugby memory?

My first game and playing for Saddleworth.

What have been the lowest and highest points in your so far career?

The lowest point was my shoulder injury which meant missing the tour and the highest point so far was my England début.

Who do you cite as your sporting idol?

Paul Sculthorpe MBE, he is a now retired English professional rugby player from 1990s and 2000s.

What/who inspired you to play rugby?

It was watching my Dad play when I was growing up that inspired me to want to play.

What would your team mates say your best qualities were?

Hopefully game management!

What is your most treasured possession?

It has to be my Aviva Premiership Winners Medal.

How do you spend your time when you’re not training or playing?

When we aren’t busy training or playing, I like to spend time relaxing with friends and family.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?

Train as well as you can every day.

You must have a pretty strict diet and fitness regime, what’s your food weakness?

Easy, sweets. In particular wine gums!

What advice would you give to young, aspiring rugby players?

Enjoy it, train and prepare as well as you can every day.
