Coming up! Hall of Fame Induction Wednesday 3rd May
Seven-times Paralympic swimming champion Sascha Kindred is becoming the latest inductee into the University of Bath Hall of Fame for Sport.
When: Wednesday, May 3, 4pm.
Where: University of Bath Sports Training Village, Claverton Down, Bath, BA2 7AY.
The first two of Kindred’s golds, won at the Sydney 2000 Games, came while he was training at the University of Bath – one of the key moments, he believes, of a stellar career which dates back to 1994. His latest success came at Rio 2016, where he broke the SM6 200m individual medley world record on his way to a seventh title.
Kindred has also won medals at seven IPC World Swimming Championships and six European Championships.
