We’ve done the research on your behalf and come up with 10 brilliant Bath foodie places that won’t stretch the budget but will tease the taste-buds. It covers a range of dietary restrictions too.

1. Chaiwalla – the street foodie King, award winning, wallet friendly and delicious. Find him on Monmouth Street.

2. Bath Pizza Company – set in Green Park Station have regular weekly pizza (and beer) deals. In their own words ‘fresh, local, bespoke’.

3. Mission Burito – a locals favourite offering delicious and nutritious fast and fresh burrito’s, taco’s and salad boxes.

4. Darcy’s News Café – healthy and filling breakfasts plus a fresh lunch menu including homemade soup are a popular shout in Bath’s coolest newsagents. Most offerings are eat-in or take-away.

5. Thai Hut – more street food from popular Green Park Station, where you’ll always get a cheerful hello from the hard-working staff. Another mouth-watering inexpensive foodie experience awaits you.

6. The Whole Bagel – in it’s 10th year in the heart of the city, proving it’s a popular and economical choice, all food is freshly prepared and locally sourced. Gluten avoiders and coeliac’s are lovingly catered for.

7. Schwartz Brothers – have you even been to Bath if you’ve not had a Schwartz Burger? This burger emporium has been successfully trading since 1977 and is still independent, trusted and fast, with everything cooked to order; for lunch on the go, or for late night munchies.

8. Juno – pizzas, burgers, cider and coffee. Check out their social for the latest foodie deal.

9. Roots ‘n’ Shoots – the new kids on the vegan block at Brunel Square on Southgate. Grab a £% lunch deal. We’ve heard it’s a winner.

10. Café Walcot – spacious loft like interiors perfect for grabbing something from their regularly updated lunch or breakfast menu. Sunday roasts have made an appearance too of late.
