7. Schwartz Brothers – have you even been to Bath if you’ve not had a Schwartz Burger? This burger emporium has been successfully trading since 1977 and is still independent, trusted and fast, with everything cooked to order; for lunch on the go, or for late night munchies.

9. Roots ‘n’ Shoots – the new kids on the vegan block at Brunel Square on Southgate. Grab a £% lunch deal. We’ve heard it’s a winner.
