Experience Summer Lates at the Roman Baths: An Enchanting Evening of History, Music, and Magic

From July 21 to August 31, 2025, the world-famous Roman Baths invites you to experience their enchanting Summer Lates.

This is a rare opportunity to explore this ancient site after hours, illuminated by the soft glow of torchlight and accompanied by live music.

Whether you are a history lover, a romantic, or simply looking for a unique way to spend a summer evening, Summer Lates promises to be an unforgettable experience. Relax with a drink from the bar and discover the untold stories of the Baths on a guided tour (£6).

On Friday to Sunday evenings, and on Bank Holiday Monday, the Baths come alive with the sound of live music by the water: - Enjoy DJ Vinyl evenings on Fridays and Saturdays. Relax to acoustic sessions on Sundays.

Music plays between 5:30 PM and 9:00 PM, providing the perfect backdrop as you stroll along the walkways or enjoy a drink by the shimmering waters. You can find the full music program on their website.

Extended Evening Opening Hours

Throughout the summer holidays, the Roman Baths will remain open late into the evening: - Monday to Thursday: Open until 8:00 PM (last entry at 7:00 PM) - Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holiday Monday (August 25): Open until 10:00 PM (last entry at 9:00 PM)

This extended access allows you to see the Baths in a whole new light, quite literally.

Ticket Information

There is no need to pay extra for the late-night experience; Summer Lates are included in the standard admission ticket. Online booking is advised to secure your preferred time slot. Bath residents with a Discovery Card, along with students from Bath Spa University or the University of Bath, can enjoy free entry; however, they must still book in advance.
