The Museum of East Asian Art

The Museum of East Asian Art in Bath is the only museum in the UK dedicated to the arts and culture of East and Southeast Asia

Located in a beautifully restored Georgian Townhouse and just minutes from The Circus and Bath's Royal Crescent, the MEAA opened its doors in 1993.

Frequent special exhibitions and events help the museum's aim of understanding East and Southeastern Asian culture and it boasts an incredible collection of artifacts that covers over 7000 years of artistry and craftsmanship

2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the Museum, and they have a special Anniversary Exhibition planned for the 22nd of June "From Hong Kong to Bath: 30 Years of the Museum"

The MEAA is open Wednesday to Friday 11.00am - 5.00pm

and Saturdays 10.30am - 5.00pm
