Great Chalfield Manor & Gardens

Great Chalfield Manor is a beautiful medieval manor in a peaceful Wiltshire countryside setting.

This charming 15th-century home has survived the five centuries since its building and appears much the same as it did in the 1470s. It is brimming with history and has 7 acres of unique Arts and Crafts gardens, orchards and water features.

Completed in 1480 the manor is enhanced by a moat, a gatehouse, beautiful oriel windows, and a great hall that is used for various events and operas. All Saints Parish Church is approached through the gatehouse to Great Chalfield Manor and is open daily for private prayer.

Viewings of the manor house are by a guided tour only, which usually lasts approx 45 minutes, between 11am - 5pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
