Your Total Guide To sport
Bath have won eight of their ten games in all competitions this season, with the only two defeats coming against the same opposition, Leicester, in the Aviva Premiership and most recently in the Anglo Welsh Cup.
"(The atmosphere under Todd Blackadder and Tabai Matson) has been really good," Homer said.
"They are big on creating a real team atmosphere and it is a one squad thing as opposed to your first team and your second team, it does not matter what age you are, you just sort of crack on with each other and it is a really good atmosphere".
Like many others around the set-up, Homer has plenty of praise for his coaching staff on how they bring young academy players through at the Recreation Ground under the new regime.
"If Todd thinks you are good enough, it does not matter if you are 18 or 26, you will play if he thinks you are ready for it. That makes us better and the vibe at the club is really good.
"We are all comfortable with each other so everything is a lot easier."
Homer is also taking no time to adjust to first team rugby, something he also outlined.
"The first year here you train with the first team even when you are with the academy so you need to get up to speed pretty quick and nothing has really changed.
"You still go out and train everyday and it is just good to get a bit more game time."
