Bath Assembly Rooms

Bath Assembly Rooms are a Grade I listed building that's a key part of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath

Bath's Assembly Rooms date back to 1771 and were the heart of fashionable 18th-century Bath.

The New or Upper Rooms as they were known, provided a space for people to meet and also enjoy daily entertainment, such as gambling, concerts and balls! The 'polite society' of the times all flocked to the rooms including Bath's most famous resident and novelist Jane Austen, the novelist Charles Dickens and the painter Thomas Gainsborough.

The Rooms are currently closed and will open for planned events in the future. To keep up to date of opening times and any planned programmes please click here.
