TR Hayes: Bringing A Touch Of Harrods Magic To Bath

Bath?s largest independent furnishers, TR Hayes, got all festive on Saturday 13th December by having actors from the Odd Couple Comedy Company perform in its showroom Christmas windows.

A live performance took place from 2.30pm to 5.30pm on Saturday which saw four comedy actors improvising in the realistic settings of the windows. Dressed in 1920’s attire, the comedy actors enjoyed a spot of tea in the dining room, having a nap in the bedroom and engaging with customers both inside and outside the store during their performance.

Director of TR Hayes, Richard Hayes says, “This year marks nearly 100 years in business and is the first year we have launched a Christmas window. We wanted to celebrate the festive season by doing something a little different in store this year. We have taken inspiration from the infamous Harrods live model Christmas window displays to create something that really engaged with our customers and of course showcased our festive window displays.
