Jane Austen is one of the most revered writers ever, so it makes absolute sense to celebrate her. This is why Bath's Jane Austen centre hosts an annual festival in her honour, with this year's festival happening from the 12th to the 21st of September. TGtB was there to enjoy the festivities...

Bath is the home of all things Austen, so you can be sure that Bath's annual Jane Austen festival goes all out; from regency costumes and tours of stately homes, to showcase of some of her greatest works, and performances in her honour.

The festival was founded back in 2001, and almost a decade later it is still going strong, so one can be sure to see another festival 2015.
