Spooky Wood Comes To Clarks Village This Autumn Half Term
Clarks Village in Street is hosting a children’s ‘Spooky Wood’ event and a variety of Halloween activities during October half term in conjunction with Heart FM. The Heart Angels will descend on Clarks Village on Wednesday 28th October, but be warned! The Spooky Wood will also feature a scary ‘Weeping Angel’ from TV’s Doctor Who.
From 11am until 4pm, shoppers and children can enter the Spooky Wood through a gargoyle entrance complete with fun spooky music. A live ‘Weeping Angel’ gargoyle human statue will be waiting. Once inside, children can enjoy a Halloween caricaturist, Halloween face painting and Halloween storytelling.
Entrance to the Spooky Wood is free, however staff will be collecting for Martha Care, the Clarks Village chosen charity for 2015.
Speaking about the event, Lucy Graham, Marketing Manager at Clarks Village said “The Spooky Wood will be a great way to prepare for Halloween and is sure to keep the kids entertained. Parents will have somewhere to relax while their children enjoy all the great activities we will have on offer. Halloween is such a popular and fun time of year, so we are pleased to be bringing something new to Clarks Village that will help people to enjoy Halloween in a safe and secure environment, whilst raising money for Martha Care.”
