Flavours of the West at Milsom Place

Taste the West at Bath's Milsom Place

The Flavours of the West festival will take place at Milsom Place on Saturday 29th June from 10.00am to 5.00pm with a number of local producers selling their wares and offering up valuable advice.

This will be the ideal event to stock up on treats for a summer picnic, with a selection of  cheeses, wines, ales, pies and much more on offer. There will also be the opportunity to sample an abundance of delicious locally grown produce, enjoy inspirational grow-your-own tutorials and watch West Country crafts in the making.

  • Bath Soft Cheese from Park Farm in Kelston offer award-winning organic cheeses.
  • Bath WI will be selling their terribly tempting cakes and treats. 
  • Riverford will be providing inspiration on how to put their popular fruit and veg boxes to use.
  • Lovett Pies - a handmade gourmet pie company based in Bath which uses quality locally sourced ingredients to handcraft their individual pies. 
  • Bath Ales - the local brewery will have a selection of their local ales on offer.
  • Carluccio’s will be launching their appetizing picnic hampers. 
  • Special Plants - the local specialist nursery run by Derry Watkins will be on-hand to offer horticultural advice.
  • Jon Wheatley from Stonebarn Landscapes in the Chew Valley will be on hand for summer gardening top tips.
  • With her Hands - hand made fruit jams, jellies, vinegars and mustards from Rachel Baker.
  • The Bath Food Company creates its own chutneys, preserves and relishes from local ingredients.
  • The Chilli Hut is the one stop shop for all things spicy from sauces, chocolates, sweets and crisps – ranging from Mild to Wild.
  • Wraxall Vineyard - the Somerset vineyard produces a Pinot Noir Rose which is light and fruity and ready for early summer drinking.
  • Vineyards Bakery - run by Bath-based Hannah Matthews, find delicious home baked chocolate brownies and chocolate dipped flapjacks.
  • Sam’s Kitchen will be offering artisan deli delights at their pop up “Festival Club” in The Octagon, boasting amazing charcuterie, locally grown vegetables and their own home grown pork.

Milsom Place has gained a reputation for fab foodie offerings throughout the year.  Located at the heart of the city with its Georgian buildings and open courtyards it is home to some of the city’s busiest eateries.
